Strong Communities Give Back

A strong community gives back first.

Yes, it’s been a tough couple of months. In a week’s time, we--along with our fellow Californians--would have been in lockdown for a total of eight months. Not all changes have been easy. Some of our city’s iconic small stores have closed their doors forever.

We feel very strongly about these old-time staples because we have built our home in San Francisco. Serendipia Life started out four years ago as a vision to connect entrepreneurs, founders, artists, designers, and change-makers into a shared house in North Beach. That house became a home to our international community who, today, are still supporting us; [mention affiliates] while our friends, neighbors, and local business owners were affected by the pandemic. Because of this, we wanted to give back to the local community.

On the 5th of September, we donated clothes and other usable items forgotten through the years.

We would like to thank you, Serendipians and alumni, who have brought laughter and memories into our coliving/coworking spaces since its inception. Thank you for what you left behind because we were able to pay-it-forward to the Salvation Army Family Store on 3921 Greary Boulevard.

It is our sincere hope that your shirts, sweaters, jackets, and coats will bring another soul the same warmth that you brought into our shared home. We would love to share that experience with you again as traveling becomes safer again in the future.

In the meantime, we too have made adjustments because of covid. Our teams have also begun remotely working with members in different geographies that give us on-the-ground perspectives (from San Francisco, Berlin, and Milan) of how coliving will continue to change moving forward. Our goal moving forward is to keep elevating our standards, policies, and services to provide our members with a clean, safe, and supported environment and community where their best ideas can flourish..
